Thank you for your interest in becoming a new WRA member. Currently WRA is accepting applications for the 2008 season.

For a limited time, WRA is offering $150 OFF New Member Initiation Fees. This offer only applies to New Members paying their first year's dues in full, not to multi-year financed plans. Subject to club's policies and restrictions. Offer expires June 15, 2008. Contact us for more details.

If you are interested in becoming a member, please fill out the form on the "Contact Us" page or send an e-mail containing your name, address and telephone number to our Membership Trustee, Leon Roomberg at the address below. He will send you a confirmation by e-mail of your status once he receives you complete information. Currently, there are a few slots available for the 2008 season. Applications will be placed in the order in which they are received. There is no fee associated with placing yourself on the waiting list.

New memberships are issued annually as bonds are returned and openings arise. You will be contacted when memberships become available. If you are interested in visiting the club, please contact us at (856) 428-1413 during summer hours of operation to schedule a visit.

Please note that our annual membership commitments are due April 25th each year. New memberships are therefore typically issued after this date.

Per person membership applies to family members over the age of one on June 1st of the current calendar year.

** NJ Sales Tax (7%) is applicable dues and initiation fee; not to the purchase of the bond (see below for more information).

Sales tax. On October 1, 2006, the New Jersey sales tax was extended to athletic and recreational facilities and swim clubs, by definition, are included in this category. The Senate has passed a bill that would exempt swim clubs. Based on discussions with Assemblyman Louis Greenwald, the Assembly’s Budget Chairman, however, it appears unlikely that he would submit a bill that would exempt swim clubs. Consequently, we are required to charge the sales tax for initiation costs and dues but not capital assessments. The Board of Trustees, which has lobbied for the exemption, will keep its membership apprised of any changes, should they occur.
